Thanksgiving Countdown

Life is kind of funny at times.  We are currently living in the smallest place of any of the family and they've all elected to come here for Thanksgiving.  :-)  I may joke about it but I'm looking forward to having everyone over.

There's lots to do to get ready.  The plans for today include:


  1. putting the turkey in the refrigerator to begin thawing which is going to require rearranging the fridge
  2. rearranging the living room so we can add extra table and chairs (thank goodness for open floor plan)
  3. borrowing said chairs from community building
  4. making sure everyone remembers what they're supposed to bring
I don't really have any advanced cooking to do unless I decide to make a pumpkin cheesecake, which I am strongly leaning towards.

    There is lots to do, isn't there? Pumpkin cheesecake sounds really delicious. I may just have to steal a page form your book and make one, too. I got a deal on cream cheese this week

    1. Lili, there is a lot....but such a great day to get together. I love cheesecake, but rarely make it because I'm afraid most of it gets left for me to eat. At least if we have company someone else will help.
